OBITUARY. - Bloomingdale correspondence, which necessity compels us to leave out this week, contained the following announcement:
It becomes our very sad duty to chronicle the death of Mrs. HUGH MARTIN, who died in Wilsborough, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. HENRY JONES, where she had been visiting for some eight or ten days. Mrs. MARTIN was in her usual health up to "within three days of her death, being taken down on Thursday and dieing about 10 A. M. Sunday, Sept. 26th. Previous to her death her children were all telegraphed to, and nearly all of them were able to attend her in her last moments. Her remains were brought to Bloomingdale for interment, the funeral took place on Wednesday at the M. E church, the Rev. Mr. MERRILL, of Ausable Forks, (Presbyterian) officiating. There were eleven sons and daughters, six sons and daughters-in-law and fifteen grand children present at the funeral, which was a very large one, Mrs. MARTIN having, a great many friends, and so far as we have ever heard not an enemy. The deceased was in the 70th year of her age.
