Hattie G. Dyer, 73, died Saturday, at the home of her son James Dyer in Keeseville, after an illness of three days.
Mrs. Dyer was born at Lewis on September 13th, 1865. She was married May 9th, 1886 to James W. Dyer, a Civil War veteran, who later died in 1889.
She leaves a brother, Abraham Gowett, Plattsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Trombley of Washington D.C., and Mrs. R. A. Sanders of Worcester, Vt. and one son, James W. Dyer and four step-children, Mrs. Ella Cochran of Vermontville, N. Y., Orville Dyer and Mason Dyer also of Vermontville, and H. R. Dyer of Schuyler Falls, N. Y.
The services were held Monday at 9 A.M. from St. Johns Church. Rev. Fr. J. L. St. Jacques officiating.
Bearers were Ephrim Chartand, Eddie Tero, Alex Ouimette, Nelson Martin, Fred Galarneau and Alfred Perkett.
